New product line extends offerings to patients to provide higher level of contact lens wear and eye care
Visionary Optics is pleased to announce the launch of the company’s VibrantVue® product line which, offers high-quality, cost-effective products for eye care practitioners (ECPs) and their patients. Visionary Optics has collaborated with ABB Optical Group (ABB), a leading provider of optical products and business solutions in the eye care industry, to make the VibrantVue® product line available for ECPs to order exclusively through ABB and Visionary Optics.

VibrantVue’s® Contact Lens Hand Prep is currently the first and only product marketed as a “no rinse” hand cleanser specifically for all soft and gas permeable contact lens wearers. Its use of hypochlorous (HOCl) technology makes it safe and non-stinging to the eyes as well as providing potent antimicrobial activity, making it a safer alternative to using irritating alcohol-based products. A study of the formulation demonstrated that it killed 99.8% of human coronavirus in 15 seconds, 99.9% of adenovirus, and 14 different virulent bacteria within 15 to 60 seconds of contact time. The Contact Lens Hand Prep cleanser is available in both 8-ounce and 2-ounce sizes.
The Scleral Saline solution is the most recently FDA-cleared scleral filling solution. This sterile, non-buffered 0.9% saline solution, manufactured in the U.S., comes in 100 count, single-use 5-milliliter vials, which on average will last a patient three months. VibrantVue® is offering samples to ECPs to provide to their new scleral lens patients.
In addition, VibrantVue’s® Lid and Lash Care products include a hydrogel formulation for in-office treatment and liquid spray for at-home maintenance by patients. These HOCl technology-based products were designed to both prevent and treat contact lens intolerance and help to treat Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. The non-toxic, non-irritating, and hypoallergenic liquid spray for patients comes in convenient and affordable 3-ounce bottles, which on average will last a patient three months.
